Biscuits 美式松饼的做法
Preheat oven to 425F. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large mixing bowl. 预热烤箱425F,将面粉、泡打粉、糖和盐一起过筛到一个大碗中。
Cut butter into flour in the mixing bowl using a fork or a pastry cutter. 用叉子或糕点切刀将黄油切碎与面粉混合。
Return dough to bowl, add milk and stir with a fork until it forms a rough ball. 将牛奶倒入面团用叉子搅拌成面团。
Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface and pat it down into a rough rectangle, about an inch thick. Fold it over and gently pat it down again. Repeat. 将面团取出放在洒好面粉的台面上轻拍成大约1英寸的矩形,然后重叠面团,压扁。重复此步骤3次。
Cut dough into biscuits using a floured glass or biscuit cutter. 用圆形模具将面团切下。
